The theme of the meeting addresses the need for an interdisciplinary approach to care and research in reconstruction and rehabilitation of the head and neck. The structure and physiology of head and neck are highly complex and this dictates that diverse disciplines need to integrate activity to create portals to future clinical and research initiatives.
The theme of the ISMR 2010 international biennial conference reflects the mission of the ISMR – an organization created to internationally promote interdisciplinary care and research in rehabilitation of the head and neck.
