Event: Tale About Power
Time: 12:30-14:30

Description: This 1½-2 hour tour shows you the best of Belgrade and includes a visit to important sights of downtown and wider city center. We will visit Saint Sava's Temple, the biggest orthodox Christian temple in the world, followed by a visit to museum of the most famous Serbian scientist and one of the biggest inventors in world history - Nikola Tesla. The next tale on the tour is one about winning sport results; we will visit Red Star football stadium, the European and world champion in 1992. The end of the tour shall tell you the story about Josip Broz Tito, leader of former Yugoslavia and the Non-Aligned Movement. Additionally, we will show you Tito's mausoleum named “House of Flowers”.

Description: This 1½-2 hour tour you will discover the palace complex of the Karageorgevich dynasty in Dedinje consisting of the Royal and the White Palaces. The Royal Palace was build during the period from 1924 to 1929 by order of King Aleksandar I as the official royal residence. Today it is the home of the heir to the throne, Aleksandar II and his family. It is a large impressive villa of white stone in the Serbian-Byzantine style. The Palace is surrounded by pergolas, terraced gardens, fish ponds, a pavilion and a bandstand offering a magnificent view. Discover the different rooms of the Palace which are luxuriously decorated in the Baroque and Renaissance style. The White Palace was commissioned by the command of King Alexander I as the residence for his three sons. It was built from 1934 to 1937. The palace is decorated in Louis XV and XVI style with Venetian chandeliers. It also houses the Palace Library, which used to contain 35,000 books and the Ceremonial Dining Room furnished in Chippendale style.

Event: Novi Sad & Sremski Karlovci Tour

Description: On this all day tour you will discover Vojvodina province near Belgrade. First you will visit the city Sremski Karlovci at the foot of the National Park Fruska Gora on the Bank of the Danube River. The city appears like a museum representing the Serbian culture of the 18th and 19th century. Despite all the tumultuous event that occurred here, the cultural and historical monuments which are very important for the history of the Serbian people and Europe, have been preserved. Since ancient times Sremski Karlovci has been a center of Serbian culture and spirituality. The first Serbian high school and the first Serbian Orthodox seminary were established here. The written document “Peace of Karlova” was signed in 1699 between the Holy Alliance (Austria, Poland and Venice) and Turkey in and 1848 the Serbian Vojvodina  has been proclaimed. Sremski Karlovci is also well known for its famous Karlovac wine, which was once served in the Vienna court and throughout Europe. Enjoy your wine tasting in a wine cellar. After a short drive you will visit the city of Novi Sad. Here you find a beautiful Petrovaradin Fortress – The Gibraltar on the Danube River, which is the second largest fortress in Europe with a stunning view over the city of Novi Sad and the river. Lunch at a local restaurant by the river will be arranged.

Event: Sightseeing tour of Belgrade

Description: On this 1½-2 hour tour you will get to know the history of Belgrade and everything that you should know to get around, including museums and galleries, good places for dining or drinking, souvenir shops and fashion stores. A buss will take you to the Belgrade Fortress, which offers a magnificent view of the town Zemun and the confluence of the Sava River and the Danube River. During the following walking tour you pass Kalemegdan Park, the older restaurant in Belgrade named “?”, the Orthodox Cathedral church, the main pedestrian zone of Knez Mihailova Street, the Belgrade University, the National Theatre, the National Museum and the main squares of Belgrade. Afterwards the tour continues by bus to explore the wider city centre of Belgrade. Highlights of the tour are the Belgarde City Hall, the Serbian Parliament, the Saint Save Temple, Tito’s Museum, Dedinje Area, the Royal Compound and much more.
