The 3rd World Head & Neck Cancer Day will take place on Friday, July 27th, 2018.

Help us make the 3rd WHNCD on July 27th, 2018 a resounding success. For logistic reasons, it is anticipated that some organizers may find it difficult to host the event on Friday, July 27, 2018. In such a situation, WHNCD can be commemorated anytime during that week (starting July 23rd). However, it is important to identify any such activity “In recognition of WHNCD 2018”. To know more about WHNCD 2018, please visit our >> website

The event is comprised of multiple activities, such as press conferences, CMEs, rallies, street shows, awareness programs, screening sessions etc. News Media showed tremendous response by giving impressive coverage and it consisted of TV shows, radio interviews, news paper prints and more.

WHNCD events can be hosted by government organizations, non-government organizations, civil societies, medical societies, patient support groups, medical care facilities, hospitals, medical schools and cancer centers. It is preferred to involve newspapers, television media, NGOs and Government representatives in your programs. These are some of the options that can be taken up as part of your CME –

a. Educating the physicians on early diagnosis and current treatment paradigms
b. Awareness programs for the general public
c. Free screening for Head & Neck cancers
d. Interaction with cancer survivors and their families
e. Interaction with government and policy makers
