2020 Pune, India

April 5th, 2020

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Society for Maxillofacial Rehabilitation (ISMR) we would like to inform you that in view of the current challenges placed on citizens from around the world by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 13th Biennial Conference of the ISMR hosted by the Indian Prosthodontic Society (IPS) scheduled for September 16th-19th, 2020.

Our final decision was made taking into account guidance from the leadership of the ISMR and IPS, as well as mandates and guidelines from regional and international health organizations and governments. The ISMR strives to improve healthcare and outcomes for patients both locally and internationally and the decision to postpone this biennial much-anticipated event supports the regional and international efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We hope to reschedule the event in the future once the extent and duration of the limitations placed on us by COVID-19 becomes clearer.

I would like to thank all individuals involved in planning, organizing and attending this event including the speakers, physicians, prosthodontists, oral health specialists, residents, administrative staff, industry supporters and allied health professionals for their work and support. If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding this event, please forward them to us at info@ismr-ipsconf.com

I would like to wish you and your loved ones health and safety during these challenging times.
